Biography

In early 2015, Anna Flanagan became the first [Australian] hockey player to sign a sponsorship deal with global [lifestyle] brand Red Bull. In doing so, she was the fifth Australian woman to join Red Bull’s stable.

With a passion for the media industry and a keen blogger, Flanagan has a Bachelor’s degree in journalism and has spent time in front of the camera and behind the scenes with broadcasters. Now studying for a law degree, she also has a certificate three and four in fitness.

Despite playing with her trademark yellow ribbon in her hair, the defender describes herself as a bit of a tomboy.
