Biography

A BMX superstar as a teen, Teneal Attard rode at state and national championships until the age of 15 when she determined that her future lay with her other childhood sporting passion, hockey.

With her main focus on the upcoming Olympic Games, Attard has also invested her spare time into developing her business NeuroPhysics, a functional training centre for rehabilitation and exercise training for clients with spinal cord injuries and chronic pain.

A stoic fighter with a strong desire to succeed, she has battled back from three anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstructions, which forced her to miss the entire 2009 and 2011 seasons. Most recently, a stress fracture in her Fibula forced her to miss the 2014 World Cup, but she returned to top the year off by winning silver at the Champions Trophy in Mendoza.
