Biography

A key part of the Hockeyroos’ 2015 successes, Kenny’s outstanding year was recognised when she won the Hockeyroos’ player of the year and top scorer award with 22 goals.

One of the most feared players on the field, Kenny is known for her powerful pin-point prowess from the penalty corner. A tall and commanding figure on the pitch, she identifies with former Hockeyroo Angie Lambert (née Skirving) who was of similar height and performed in a similar position during some of the national team’s most successful years in the early 2000s.

Aside from spending time with her husband Shane, Kenny enjoys spoiling her dog, Bruce the Bull Mastiff. With a certificate three and four in fitness and currently studying for a Bachelor’s degree in exercise science, she hopes to work within the sport and exercise industry in the future.
