Published Wed 24 Mar 2021

The various national hockey championships are back in 2021, starting with the Australian Under 18 Championships in Launceston.

The best Under 18 hockey talent in Australia, plus coaches, officials and family members will converge on the Tasmanian riverside city for the Men’s and Women’s championships.

The event will run from 8-16 April with both the Men’s and Women’s competitions featuring teams from every Australian state and territory.

Queensland did the double when the tournament was last held in 2019, claiming both the Men’s and Women’s trophies.

This year’s Australian Under 18 Championships are made possible thanks to Events Tasmania.

Anyone attending the championships is asked to follow the COVID Safety Guidelines for spectators:

  • Arrive just before the game you want to watch
