U18 Indoor Championships 2026 – Canberra
Canberra hosted the 2026 Hockey Australia U18 Indoor Championships, bringing together the country’s top Under 18 athletes for a week of national competition across the men’s and women’s tournaments.
New South Wales State topped both competitions, claiming gold in the men’s and women’s events. Victoria secured silver in the men’s competition, with NSW Blues taking bronze. In the women’s competition, Queensland Maroon finished with silver and Queensland Gold completed the podium.

U14 Indoor Championships 2026 – Goulburn
Goulburn hosted a busy and competitive week of junior indoor hockey as teams from across the country came together for the 2026 Hockey Australia U14 Indoor Championships. Across both the girls’ and boys’ competitions, matches were played at a fast pace, with strong performances throughout pool play and tightly contested finals.
In the girls’ competition, Victoria claimed the national title after a 4-4 draw with New South Wales State in the gold medal match, going on to secure victory 2–1 in the shootout. Queensland Fire took the bronze medal after defeating Queensland Flare in a shootout following a 1–1 draw.
The boys’ competition saw New South Wales State finish on top, defeating Queensland Shots 5–1 in the gold medal match. Victoria secured the bronze medal with a 4–2 win over the Australian Capital Territory.

U21 Indoor Championships 2026 - Canberra
Canberra hosted four days of high-level indoor hockey as the nation’s best Under 21 athletes competed at the 2026 Hockey Australia U21 Indoor Championships. Across both the women’s and men’s competitions, matches were closely contested, finals went to shootouts and the standard of play remained high throughout the tournament.
In the women’s competition, Queensland claimed the national title after a 1–1 draw against New South Wales State, going on to win the gold medal match 3–2 in the shootout. Victoria secured the bronze medal with a 2–0 win over the Australian Capital Territory.
The men’s competition also went down to the wire, with New South Wales State taking gold after defeating Western Australia 3–2 in a shootout following a 1–1 draw. Queensland claimed the bronze medal with a 3–0 win over Victoria.

U16 Indoor Championships 2026 – Goulburn
Goulburn was alive with energy as the best junior indoor hockey players from every state and territory hit the courts for the 2026 U16 Nationals. The games were fast, the goals kept coming and new champions emerged.
Queensland Maroon did the double, winning both the Boys and Girls titles. The Boys edged NSW State in a dramatic shootout after a 4-4 draw, while the Girls took a convincing 4-1 win over NSW State. Victoria’s U16 Boys and NSW Blues’ U16 Girls claimed bronze with strong performances.

Opens Indoor Championships 2026 - Canberra
Canberra played host to the 2026 Opens Indoor Nationals, where the best senior players from every state and territory went head‑to‑head. The competition was fierce, the goals came thick and fast and new champions were crowned.
Queensland’s women took gold in a tight 2–1 final against NSW State.
ACT’s men hit top gear to defeat WA 7–3 for the title.
Victoria’s women and NSW State’s men rounded out the podium with bronze medals.
