2025 U14 Championships Wrap

Published Tue 21 Oct 2025

The U14 Championships have drawn to a close for another year after 144 matches over seven action packed days in Brisbane.

In the girl's final, the two best teams went head-to-head with NSW State and QLD Embers coming into the game with just one loss between them. It was QLD Embers who prevailed though with Evie Phillips 9th minute PC goal proving the difference on the day.

In the boy's final it was WA Gold who fittingly brought home the gold over Queensland Sabres thanks to a brace from Kiran Finn and a clean sheet for Alex Krestchmer and Thomas Woods.

Congratulations to everyone who participated and officiated in any capacity and thanks to Hockey Queensland and Easts Hockey for hosting the event.
