Australia’s future stars named in 2026/27 Under-18 National Futures Squads
Hockey Australia is pleased to announce the 2026/27 Women’s and 2026/27 Men’s Under-18 National Futures Squads.
Hockey Australia is pleased to announce the 2026/27 Women’s and 2026/27 Men’s Under-18 National Futures Squads, recognising 54 of the country’s most promising young athletes as they continue their journey through Australia's high-performance pathway.
Selected following outstanding performances across the domestic pathway, including the 2026 Under-18 National Championships, the squads bring together the next generation of Australian hockey talent and represent the future of the Hockeyroos and Kookaburras programs.
The selected athletes will now enter Hockey Australia's National Futures Program, designed to nurture the development of Australia's leading junior players through enhanced coaching, education and high-performance opportunities.
Selections were made following extensive evaluation by the National Selection Panels, taking into consideration performances at the Under-18 National Championships, position-specific requirements, age profiles to support both current and future tournament requirements, and long-term national team potential.
