The Hockeyroos have named a 22 player squad for the upcoming FIH Pro League series in Europe, with Australia set to continue its preparations for the upcoming FIH World Cup against some of the world's best nations across England and Belgium this month.

The squad will travel to London for matches from 17–21 June before heading to Wavre, Belgium for the second stage from 23–27 June, with the tour providing another valuable opportunity for the Hockeyroos to build momentum ahead of the 2026 FIH Hockey Women's World Cup.

Hockeyroos Head Coach Rhett Halkett said the upcoming Pro League would be an important test for the group as they continue to develop consistency ahead of the World Cup. The Hockeyroos secured qualification for the 2026 FIH Hockey Women's World Cup earlier this year and will use the European tour as a key part of their preparations for the global showpiece.

"The Pro League in London and Wavre presents a fantastic opportunity for us to continue our preparation for the World Cup,” Halkett said.

"We've seen some really positive progress from the group throughout the year and this tour gives us the opportunity to challenge ourselves and continue refining the way we want to play."

The squad features a blend of experienced internationals and emerging talent, with several players continuing their development following strong performances during the Hockeyroos' Pro League series in Hobart, World Cup Qualifying campaign in Chile and more recently the warm-up series against India and the USWNT in Perth.

Halkett said exposure to top-ranked opposition during Pro League would be invaluable as the Hockeyroos build towards the World Cup and beyond.

"Every match we play teaches us something. The experience of competing in different environments, against different opposition and different styles of hockey is important for the continuous growth of this group,” Halkett said.

"We want to refine our ability to execute the fundamentals under pressure, we want to be tough to beat and play smart, fast hockey.

“The focus is to continue building physical and mental habits that can shine under pressure and fatigue. The Pro League gives us the litmus test we need before the World Cup. We're excited for the challenge ahead.”
