Researchers at La Trobe University are partnering with Hockey Australia to research injuries sustained in the 2023 winter season.

By volunteering to participate in the survey, you'll not only go in the draw to win a BLACKROLL® Recovery Prize Pack valued at over $550 RRP, you'll also help us to better understand common injuries in field hockey and the impact of those injuries on players.

*All registered Hockey Australia participants aged over 14 years who fully complete the survey and provide their email address within the survey, will go into the draw to WIN a BLACKROLL® Recovery Prize Pack. The survey will close on 31 May at 5pm (AEST). All information you provide will be confidential and used for analysis purposes only, and your responses will not be identified in any way. Personal details you provide for any corresponding Competition you choose to enter will be used for this purpose only.

You are eligible if;

• You were registered to play hockey in Australia for the 2023 winter season (regardless of whether you were injured throughout the season).
• You are 14+ years old

If you choose to take part in the survey you will be asked to;

• Complete a once off survey (taking approx. 10 - 20 mins) about your hockey training, facilities and injuries you may have sustained during the 2023 winter season.
• If you are under 18, you will need to answer some questions to confirm you have understood the informed consent.

Your decision to participate in research is voluntary.

Reimbursement for participation

There are no additional costs associated with participation in this research study, nor will you be paid. You can elect to enter a draw for a BLACKROLL® Recovery Prize Pack.
