Hockey Australia is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people in hockey by providing safe and inclusive environments and ensuring that everyone involved in hockey is proportionately educated and informed of their responsibilities to protect and look after children and young people.

Safeguarding Children and Young People PolicyThe Hockey Australia Safeguarding Children and Young People Policy explains how hockey provides a safe, positive, inclusive, and supportive place for all children and young people participating in our sport. This Policy helps everyone involved in hockey including children and young people, parents, carers, coaches, staff, and volunteers understand their rights and responsibilities about children and young people's safety and wellbeing. It sets out the rules about acceptable and unacceptable behaviour, and what you can do if you feel unsafe, unhappy or have been harmed. |
