Hockey Australia becomes Cluey about learning

Published Tue 20 Sep 2022

Hockey Australia (HA) is delighted to announce a partnership with Cluey Learning specifically aligned to Hookin2Hockey.

Hookin2Hockey is Australia’s introductory hockey program aimed at children 10 years and under that includes skill-based games in a fun and safe environment.

An ASX listed company, Cluey Learning delivers a personalised, face-to-face online tutoring experience for students in Years 2-12.

More information about Cluey Learning, and a special discount for Hockey Australia members, can be found on the official Cluey Learning website.

The initial one year partnership will build a strong connection between Cluey Learning and Hookin2Hockey and both programs’ objectives and benefits for children and young people.

“Apart from being an introduction to our sport, HookIn2Hockey is about developing fundamental motor skills, social skills and providing all the positives that come with physical activity,” said HA CEO David Pryles.

“Welcoming Cluey Learning into the Hockey Australia family will complement these benefits with the services Cluey Learning provides in educating children in a host of academic disciplines.”

“Both are vital in a young person’s growth and development, so we look forward to joining forces to grow the awareness and exposure of what Cluey Learning and Hookin2Hockey are all about.”

Cluey Learning is about building kids’ confidence and helping them thrive in their education, and a partnership with Hockey Australia complements the services they provide.

“The Cluey Learning team is excited to partner with Hockey Australia, and to support the learning and development of the children who play the sport,” said Rob Newman, Cluey Learning.

“The skills kids learn through playing sport are incredibly beneficial and extend into all aspects of life. We are thrilled to be able to support children in their development, outside of their academic education, through partnerships like this.”
