HockeyEd in 2022

Wed 15 Dec 2021

Following the recent announcement of etrainu as Hockey Australia’s new Learning Management System (LMS) provider, here is what it will mean for HockeyEd in 2022.

HockeyEd is known as the collective for national coach, umpire and technical accreditation training programs.

The existing HockeyEd (Moodle) platform will continue into the New Year, with etrainu becoming operational from early April 2022.

Once etrainu goes LIVE, the Moodle platform will still be available to Hockey Australia to ensure all members’ history can be accessed and verified.

Accredited courses will continue to be available in the current form. The plan is to continue building online content over the next 12-24 months.

Prior to transitioning to etrainu, more information will be provided on accessing the suite of learning opportunities available in the LMS.

The Coaching and Officiating Advisory Group (COAG), together with passionate volunteers, have been working to ensure an effective pathway for coaching and officiating aspirants.

COAG continues to be an advocate for the community, ensuring a successful transition into 2022 and beyond.

For any questions on the transition onto the new LMS or the accreditation process, please email HockeyEd@hockey.org.au.
