- Credits her father Bob and brother for her entry into hockey. At the age of six she began playing in a mixed gender competition, although the rough and tumble of playing with the boys nearly put her off.
- Selected for the Champions Trophy and her Olympic debut in 2016, along with being selected to captain the Hockeyroos for the Trans-Tasman Trophy and the International Festival of Hockey in light of Madonna Blyth’s retirement after Rio.
- Captained the Hockeyroos in front of her home crowd in Adelaide in a series against Japan in late 2017.
