Thank you for your continued use of Hockey-Ed, our e-learning portal for coaches, officials and other members of the hockey community.
We are working towards exciting new advancements in the Hockey-Ed space. Together with our state and territory Member Associations and relevant coaching and officiating representatives, we want to ensure that the process to develop, learn and become accredited is as straightforward as possible.
As such, some of the new developments we’re currently working on to improve Hockey-Ed include:
- Integrating the FIH learning academy at our development level + (Level 2+)
- New Coaching, Umpiring and Technical Official framework visuals
- Creating additional learning opportunities outside of formal accreditations
- Exploring and improving Hockey-Ed’s learning credit system
- Making the learning and course journey clearer to ensure a smoother process for gaining accreditation
- Using newly-released modules from the Australian Sports Commission (ASC) to expand various learning modules.
We expect most of these new changes to be ready for roll-out in 2026. Rest-assured, in the meantime, the Hockey-Ed platform will continue to work as usual, and we encourage you to continue to use it!
To make that easier, and for those new to the portal, or haven’t visited in a while, here are a few relevant sources to utilise. Our Hockey Ed User Guide will guide you through the process of accessing HockeyEd and what's available.
